Wacom and PILOT came up with the idea of using writing sounds as a way of defining digital pens, which led them to pursue research entirely dedicated to writing sounds. After repeated, active discussions as to which essential elements make up a sound and how they can be expressed, they arrived at certain findings. PILOT is proud to present these findings at its booth, where you can try them out yourself. The session is staged by engineers from PILOT and Wacom, together with Mr. Matsubara, a sound specialist (Sound Ninja), and Mr. Miyata (TOA), responsible for the loudspeakers with high sound fidelity used at the event, and offers a forum for discussions about their discoveries and objectives in their joint quest into writing sounds.
