“Neo Ihatov” is a utopia constructed within a computer using elementary particle physics. Humans who transfer their ego-consciousness here can free themselves from illness, aging, and even death, and be reunited with deceased family members in the process. One day, Kinoshita, a researcher involved in constructing this utopia is visited by a colleague, Hayashi, who lost his wife nine years ago and was left to care for his son with an intellectual disability. Hayashi himself is suffering from an incurable disease and worries about his son’s future. The thought of leaving his son behind torments him so much that he decides to join Kinoshita’s demonstration experiment together with his son. There, Sarah, a mysterious figure who is neither human nor goddess enters the scene. Coming from an invisible dimension, she has been observing human beings since ancient times. In the moment when humans try to go beyond the limit of life and death, what does she say to them? A magic lantern projects a soul-awaking story of life and death onto the stage, accompanied by a string quartet.
