From buying a cup of coffee to signing contracts, eSignatures have become an increasingly common component of everyday life over the last two decades. With so much of the world relying upon eSignatures, this session will take a step back and explore eSignatures through the lens of Forensic Reliability; that is, how reliable are eSignatures at allowing for a credible determination of authenticity and how resistant they are to fraud, as told from the perspective of a Forensic Document Examiner. This session will also explore Wacom’s Digital Inking solutions for signature capture and how they fall into this paradigm of Forensic Reliability.
