August 20, 2021 (Tokyo, Japan) – Wacom Co, Ltd., announced that its upgraded digital pen technology has been adopted by Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, the new premium foldable smartphone that is perfect for on-the-go multitaskers.
The upgraded S Pen for Z Fold3 5G is available in two options: the S Pen Fold Edition and the S Pen Pro, both featuring a specially engineered retractable pen tip with force limit technology, to protect the smartphone’s main screen while writing and drawing. Also, Wacom and Samsung have created an out-of-box solution to develop the EMR® (Electro-Magnetic Resonance) sensor ideal for the foldable display, making it even easier for users to jot down notes during a video call or check off a to-do list while reading emails. Users can also unleash their creativity and productivity on the spacious screen with the S Pen.

The Galaxy Z Fold3 5G will be available for pre-order beginning August 11 and will launch on August 27 in select markets, including the U.S., Europe, and Korea.
